Lack Of Sleep And Its Effect On Student Life - Sleep More To Be More!
The
best way to realize your dreams is to wake up. True, but what about those
people who miss to sleep to catch their wish?
Maximum
analysts today think that lack of sleep affects a person’s performance. They
say that you can never meet your full potential if you compromise with sleep.
Yep, that’s true too!
A
seamless performance needs a stress-free mind and calmness can’t be achieved
without slowing down. Cheri Mah, a graduate researcher at Stanford, worked on
six basketball players to investigate the truth. He noticed that over a period
when they were allowed to sleep more than ten hours, they ran faster and made
more shots. (Source- USA Today)
Moreover,
there’s a bunch of diseases that would get into your brain if you don’t care to
relax. So, all hard workers out there who are dreaming to top in exams or to
arrange a winning presentation by staying up all night pay attention because
sleeping less causes, lack of concentration, repetition of mistakes,
depression, anxiety and addiction. Mind it, success is important but health is
even more as it leads you toward getting it.
College days open us to ‘mad mad world!’, and system?
Ok now that’s what we call ‘thumbs down!’ Believe me kids; even our parents
scanned the whole syllabus only when the semester was an inch away! Chatting
for hours, endless sips of coffees, music, party and late night drives, who can
imagine college without these things? However, you have to draw a line
somewhere. As we live a utopian life in college, we tend to forget the fact
that we have to live a long life ahead. Hard work, energy and patience
construct a wealthy and winning life. For that, a fit mind and body come first.
So friend, what treasure are you planning to dig up neglecting your health?
