Different Types Of Distance Learning Courses

Although distance learning courses are offshore in nature and they allows the student to work independently within a stipulated time frame to complete the syllabus of the course depending on the technical and subject orientation module, these types of courses are of different types and are of different requirements. Depending on the nature of the module designs the distance learning courses can be segmented in four categories. These are

1. Open scheduled courses- This module of distance learning is best suitable for the working people like to pursue accumulate better affiliation in their credential. The entire course is designed with a stipulated time frame and the attending student has his full liberty to complete the course within that stipulated time frame as per his own schedule.

2. Blended learning courses  in this module the students needs to complete the entire course in the pre-decided time limit and can work as per his own discretion but for the communication he has to keep in touch at a single base. This may be a virtual class room or a chat room where other students may be present by their wire ID and the interaction and discussion can be done in a collective way.

3. Computer oriented learning method dependent courses   This is the most strict version of computer oriented programs where the student has to maintain time and place that means the enrolled student has to touch the base in a pre-decided schedule from a particular place. The students opting for higher degrees opt for this type of distance learning program.

4.  Fixed time bound e-learning courses- This is most popular module of distance learning program where the student can finish the study syllabus with the fixed time frame but in a destined website from anywhere and any time of the day as per his discretion.

Apart from these modules some other modules are available in distance learning method. However these modules are combination of these basis processes of learning methods.
