Life After College
Life undergoes a complete
change for a student after they complete their graduation. It is perhaps the
most difficult but at the same time, the most important phase of life. This is
the phase when the students need to take the most important decision of their
life: to pursue further studies or to start a career of their choice.
It is this stage where
the student takes the decision, “What do I want to do with my Life?” Life after
college can be a bit tough if the course of career is not yet chosen.
There are students who
wish to continue their studies for two more years. The students must consider
if two more years would benefit them in any way and secondly, if they are
financially stable to continue their studies.
The students in this
phase need to take decisions like whether to rent a house and move out or
continue in their parental homes and stay like second grade citizens though
with the advantage of being able to save more money! Other problems that
trouble a student during this period are ‘scary budgets’, stress, anxiety and
depression.
One of the necessities of
a student in ‘after college days’ is to create a good impression on anybody and
everybody as this may later on help the student to secure his or her ‘dream
job’.
Though a student often undergoes stress and anxiety during this phase
of life, there are also some brighter sides as the student finally enters a job
of their choice and enjoy a greater social life (though often bereaved of
parties because of job requirements). Thus though this phase introduces a
student to the ‘big bad world of reality’, it is also the brightest phase of
life.
